Serves four people utensils wooden spoon bowl pan with lid oven proof serving dish peel the apples peel and core the apples dice into chunks put the apple chunks in the pan add the sugar cinnamon clove cover with a lid stew the apples stew half a hour stir occasionally check make sure it is cooked by mashing it a bit the apples should be soft but we do not want a puree allow to cool put it in to a serving dish and let cool
